Natural progesterone is a little known natural hormone cream that is starting a quiet revolution among women with its ability to assist with menopausal symptoms, PMS, infertility, endometriosis, fibroids, fibrocystic breasts and post-natal depression.

Natural progesterone is the name of a specific hormone that is made in the female ovaries as well as in the placenta during pregnancy. It is known as the “anti-stress, anti-anxiety hormone” and works in tandem with oestrogen.

If your progesterone levels become too low, as happens with many women due to a variety of causes, oestrogen becomes dominant causing a range of troublesome symptoms.

Progesterone ripens the thickened endometrium so that it can be implanted with a fertilised egg – hence its name “pro” “gestation”. Repeat miscarriages may be due to a lack of progesterone in the early stages of pregnancy. One New Zealand clinic boasts it has had 80 babies born since their clients began using the cream.

During the third trimester of pregnancy, the body produces 300 to 400mg of progesterone daily. The drastic plummet in progesterone levels following delivery of the placenta is believed to trigger post-natal depression in some women.

Highly regarded American obstetrician Dr Christiane Northrup says any woman at risk of post-natal depression should be using natural progesterone cream the minute her baby is born.

Natural progesterone has also been shown to aid new bone formation. Dr Northrup has seen patients have their osteoporosis reversed as much as 16 years past menopause using natural progesterone in combination with other dietary factors and exercise.

Natural progesterone was first discovered in 1934, and is now made from a plant substance called diosgenin, which is “bio identical” to the progesterone molecule produced by the body.

Many doctors still favour synthetic progestogens, chemical copies of progesterone using in the OC pill and HRT therapy, which have a different molecular structure.

If you are new to progesterone cream:

  • A good idea is to have your progesterone salvia levels checked to see if you are deficient. This simple test cost $22.50 and is done by a Christchurch laboratory. Progesterone levels cannot accurately be checked by blood tests
  • Progesterone cream was made `prescription only’ in the last few years – just at the point women were networking the information about its availability and its profound effect on their lives. This means it is now only available on prescription
  • Many doctors are still unfamiliar with the cream. Because pharmaceutical companies can’t patent and own natural molecules, no big drug companies are marketing the product to doctors. You can assist your doctor’s knowledge about the cream by photocopying the final chapter of my book (written by compounding pharmacist Mike Cushman) and taking this to him or her
  • There are small but dedicated group of people working with the cream … people like nurse Felicity Sinden and her Patient Advocates business in Auckland and Tauranga, Northland naturopath Di Burgess, Auckland doctor Monica Lewis. These people all offer phone consults if you live outside their area
  • The clinics and doctors working with the cream strongly suggest people read my book Progesterone: The Natural Hormone, so they can educate themselves on this natural hormone and its effects

Progesterone: The Natural Hormone

Who could have thought that a pot of cream could transform lives? This is exactly what natural progesterone cream has done for tens of thousands of women around the world. The nature identical hormonal cream has benefited women suffering from PMS, menopausal symptoms, mood swings, breast tenderness, insomnia, migraines and osteoporosis.

Read stories like that of Jocelyn Strongman, 61 who suffered a heart attack then a stroke following inappropriate HRT treatment. After using progesterone cream she says she is better than she has been in decades – her memory has returned, her weight dropped, her diabetes stabilised, her sex life is back and her hair has regrown thick and in its natural colour.

The book interviews medical personnel prescribing the cream and provides information for you to educate your doctor on the cream. Natural progesterone is the safe solution to hormonal imbalance and may be the most important supplement that a woman ever uses.

Readers tell Kimberley this book has literally saved their lives….

READER REVIEWS:

“Have just read your book on Progesterone and found it great. I have showed it to my doctor who has gone and bought a copy. I am 52 and have suffered seven years of menopausal symptoms. Over the last six month I felt like my body was breaking down. My symptoms were flushes every hour, sometimes every half hour. They were so bad I would have to stop what I was doing until they went away. Tiredness, I used to crawl out of bed in the mornings and sometimes spent the whole day just sitting because I was too tired to do anything. Aching joints, heartburn, headaches, thrush, and urine infections. I have always been a very active person. I was so desperate that I went to my doctor and said please give me HRT, I can’t take it anymore – lucky for me he knew about progesterone cream and gave me a jar to try. That was a Friday, by Saturday my hot flushes had halved, Sunday I only had three and from then on I haven’t looked back. I feel wonderful. I now jump out of bed in the morning. My husband has read your book with great interest and said all men should read it.”

“I was so excited to find your book last week. I know so many women who are going to benefit from reading the information you have put together. How I wish doctors I have seen over the years could have offered natural progesterone to me. Since using the cream I have gone from having 10 days every month of misery to feeling great all the time. It was a gradual improvement over six months. Ever since I first started having periods I have suffered from various symptoms, painful periods, irregular periods, infertility, miscarriage, heavy bleeding, then a hysterectomy, after which the headache and PMS symptoms continued. It feels so good to not have that feeling of not being able to be who I really am. I feel great, have energy, and feel good right inside of me. I also have four daughters, one who has similar problems to what I had. She is also using progesterone with good results, it is taking several months to regulate her periods and her acne is improving. Can you let me know about getting more copies of your book.”
